This week’s episode of ‘Mike Watkins Investigates’ features an interview with Jen Smee and Olly Holbrook; members of one of one the most exciting young bands to come out of Gloucestershire in years – Strange Things Frighten Us (STFU). Although classified in the punk/hardcore category, STFU’s sound encapsulates a wide range of styles and draws from a plethora of influences. Well known for their willingness to play live as often as they can and showing an infectious enthusiasm for what they do, STFU are definitely a name to look out for in the future. Inbetween the chat we hear a number of tracks from their latest EP and a selection of music from bands who have influenced them over the years.
